Aurora Borealis — a haiku string

Your words spew forth like
coronal mass ejections,
battering the shield

of protection built
around the inner part of
me, reflecting back

into the black void
as your breath, like a solar
wind pushes the words

forward again, to
drive against the edge of my
soul, breaking it down

until I can no
longer stand against the force
of you.  I am ripped

apart as the heat
of your words scorches through me,
setting me on fire.
